What is Cryotherapy?

Cryotherapy is a cutting-edge, non-invasive treatment designed to target and remove unwanted skin imperfections with precision and ease. Using the advanced CryoIQ , this innovative procedure harnesses the power of extreme cold to deliver targeted results, making it an ideal solution for a wide range of skin concerns.

What Is the CryoIQ?

The CryoIQ is a state-of-the-art tool that uses liquefied nitrous oxide (N₂O) to freeze and destroy unwanted tissue. Unlike traditional methods, the CryoIQ offers exceptional accuracy, targeting only the affected area without damaging the surrounding healthy skin.

What Conditions can Cryotherapy treat?

Cryotherapy is suitable for various skin conditions, including:

  • Warts and Verrucas: Say goodbye to stubborn growths with ease.
  • Skin Tags: Remove unsightly skin tags quickly and painlessly.
  • Cherry Angiomas: Eliminate small red skin bumps effectively.
  • Milia: Achieve a more even skin complexion.

This versatile treatment is perfect for both cosmetic and medical applications, helping you regain confidence in your skin.

How does Cryotherapy work?

The process is simple yet highly effective:

  1. Consultation: During your consultation, our trained specialist will assess your skin and identify areas for treatment.
  2. Application: The CryoIQ delivers a precise burst of cryogenic nitrous oxide to the treatment area, freezing the affected cells instantly.
  3. Healing: Over the following days, the frozen tissue naturally sheds, allowing healthy skin to regenerate in its place.

We're proud to be able to offer Cryotherapy to patients in the West Midlands from our Redditch clinic, close to a range of bus routes.

About our service

Cryotherapy is a non-invasive treatment, and you won't need anaesthetic. It's generally painless, except for a little bit of discomfort in the area being treated, where the cold pen will touch your skin.

Still, it's important you bear a few things in mind before you book so that you know what you're getting into.

Things to know

  • We'll ask you to complete a medical questionnaire before your appointment. If we don't think we can safely treat your concern, we'll let you know.
  • We're reliant on you being truthful when you complete your questionnaire and consultations with us. It's your responsibility to provide us with accurate information about your health.
  • Your clinician will provide you with an aftercare pack on the day, which it's important you follow for the best possible results. Don't forget to read it - good aftercare can make all the difference.
