Formed within General Practice, we believe there’s nothing more important than a life lived well. So, we created Well by Vertis to provide private wellness services to patients looking to enhance their health, wherever in the UK they’re based – while allowing us to reinvest in our local community through the services we deliver.
Owned and managed by a GP federation, and developed in collaboration with a local independent pharmacy, we reinvest our revenues into local Primary Care services – meaning all the money we make, through all our services, goes back into helping our teams provide better patient care.
That means we’re the collective organisation who manage large projects collaboratively on behalf of Worcestershire GPs. Over the years, that’s included a huge range of NHS and Public Health contracts – including our award-winning Your Health service – all designed around supporting patients in Worcestershire through great Primary Care.

We’re proudly local – and we reinvest in local services. That’s why our dispensing HQ is based at Kitsons Pharmacy – an independent pharmacy in the heart of Worcester.
We believe GLP-1 medications – weight loss injections, like Wegovy and Mounjaro – can play a significant role in helping patients live fuller, healthier lives. Our GPs have seen first-hand the issues faced by patients who’ve struggled to lose weight through a variety of means, but haven’t been able to do so – whether that’s due to lifestyle pressures, stressful jobs, or something that’s harder to define.
So we get it. But we also want to make sure patients receiving these medications get them safely, and with appropriate, well-managed care.
So our aim with Well by Vertis is to do just that. To give patients the chance to access Wegovy or Mounjaro through private prescriptions, but with the best possible clinical care.
